We love our business clients. We enjoy the long-term relationships we have with them. The question often arises: What is your process for integrating a new business client? Here is your look at the Altitude Integrations business IT support relationship building process:
- Assessment We like to use the orchard analogy. In order to plant an orchard, you need to dig holes. In order to dig holes, you need a nice shovel. In order to use the shovel effectively, you need the proper training. We like to start by finding out the goals of the business (ie- we find out what kind of trees you would like to plant and in what pattern). We have to start by understanding the tools in use and their purpose in relation to the operations of the business. For example, we need to know if the server is hosting a CRM application such as ACT. This allows us to start with the needs of the business and assess whether the current technology is satisfying those needs effectively.
- Strategy Once we have determined the goals of the business, we then determine the appropriate technology to match that need (ie- we choose the right shovel to dig the hole for your variety of tree). Once we’ve determined the best options for the business, we present these strategic suggestions in a formal proposal with a time line and estimate of billable time to completion (ie- cost of the shovels and how long they will take to make). This step is a collaborative process that allows both Altitude Integrations and the client business to make changes to the proposal to ensure accuracy.
- Implementation This is the fun part. This is where we get the team together to show them their amazing new tools. We also teach the team how to use these nifty new tools. Whether it is a web-based email platform or a seamlessly synced file sharing solution, we ensure that the team knows how to make the most out of the tools at their disposal.
Once these 3 steps are completed, the client business gets to see how beautiful they can make that orchard. Great tools do not guarantee success. Only hard work and focus can do that. While they may not guarantee success, they will certainly increase the chances of success.
There are always new technologies to implement and our job at Altitude Integrations is to ensure we are expert in implementing the most robust technological tools available. We are constantly proposing improvements to existing systems that will increase efficiency. This is what allows us to have such long-standing relationships with such fantastic clients as Pedal to Properties, Avery Brewing and North American Property Services.
